Evelyn S. Simpson (ne Frances Evelyn Storey), born in San Marcos, TX on October 3, 1921; grew up in Cotulla, Laredo, and Kilgore; graduated Martin HS, Laredo and UT, Austin; lost her beloved Soupy in '55 and raised their three children with help from good friends in Lamesa and San Antonio; passed to her new home to be with Soupy and younger son Robert on June 28, 2013.
Evelyn is survived by her son, Ray and wife, Barbara; daughter, Patty and husband, Tom; grandchildren, Carra, Andrew, Philip and wife, Johanna.
