Francis “Frank” Hackett, age 73, passed away October 30, 2012 in San Antonio, Texas. He was born on July 29, 1939 in Buffalo, New York to Francis and Marjorie Hackett. He retired from the United States Air Force, MSGT, after many years of dedicated service. He was preceded in death by his son, Larry Dean Hackett and is survived by his wife, Elaine Hackett; daughter, Victoria Bryant and husband Kermit; brother, Merle Hackett and wife Marlene; granddaughters, Tiffany Tavery and Jessica Wolfe; great-grandson, Brodie Tavery and his father Stephan Tavery; step-grandchildren, Christina Bryant and Brooke Bryant; step-great-grandchildren, Michael Edmund and Ashley Burden. Visitation will be at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home on Bandera Road on Monday, November 5, 2012 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. A funeral service will be conducted at 12:30 P.M. Tuesday, November 6, 2012 at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home with interment to follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with full Air Force Military Honors.
