Francisco Benavides was born in Laredo, Texas on October 10, 1929. He passed away on Monday, November 16, 2020 at the age of 91. Francisco served in the Marines and United States Air Force. He was preceded in death by his late wife, Alicia, and son Frank Benavides. Survived by his wife, Rosaelia Benavides; sons, Byrne Benavides and wife Norma, Ronnie Benavides and daughter Mayra Saenz and daughter-in-law Frances Benavides; stepsons, Elpidio Gongora, Cipriano Gongora and Jesus Gongora along with two stepdaughters Rosie C. Martinez and Anna Hammad; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Visitation will be on Monday, November 23, 2020 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Porter Loring Mortuary, 1101 McCullough San Antonio, Texas.
