A dedicated family man and a wonderful grandfather, Frank Barrera was everybody's friend. I will think of Red every time I hear the expression "he never met a stranger".

I did not know Mr. Berrera personally, but am very good friends with his sister, Carrie. I am so sad for you, I know how much you love him! He has suffered for quite some time, and yes you can take stock in knowing that he is at peace now. I know it still does not lessen your pain in missing him! And for that I am so sorry for you! You just have to know in your heart of hearts that the Good Lord has a purpose for him in Heaven now and he has been waiting on him to arrive. There is no more pain in his heart and on his body for now and forever!!! We should all be so fortunate at some point in our journey! My prayer for you is that He wraps His loving arms around you and you are able to find your peace in all this, sooner rather than later. Death is ALWAYS harder on the living than those that have passed...they are dancin' a jig up there in the eternal party of Heaven (no more pain, no more sorrow, no more fight-just PEACE all around!) That is what you have to focus on to come out the other side of all the sorrow! You will be in my prayers!
