He was a loving, giving, understanding father, grandfather, and friend.
He retired from the Department of the Air Force at San Antonio Air Logistics Center, Material Management at Kelly Air Force Base on November 29, 1987 with a total of 42 years of devoted service.
As an Air Force Veteran, he received the Korean Service Medal for his service in Korea and worked as a senior radio mechanic.
Preceded in death by brother, Nick Espiritu; step-daughter, Henrietta Puente; step-granddaughter, Lisa Anne Puente. Survived by his daughters, Linda Lopez and husband, George L. of Coppell, TX, Sonia Zapata and husband, Joe D.; son, Frank C. Espiritu, Jr. and wife, Virginia T.; step son-in-law, Benny Puente; grandsons, Jorge, Javier and Jacob Rocky Lopez, Michael and William Tavitas, Austin and Justin Espiritu; granddaughters, Lisa Zapata and Justine Espiritu; great grandchildren, Ethan Michael and Christin Tavitas; brothers, David Espiritu, Rueben Espiritu of Tucson, AR; numerous nieces and nephews.
