

He is preceded in death by his parents, Francisco Rangel & Margaret Salazar Rangel; siblings, Maria Elena Pena, Gloria Pena Lucio, David Salazar Rangel, Isabel Salazar Rangel; son, Frank Salazar Rangel Jr. and grandson, Raul Chavez Jr.
He is survived by his daughters, Margaret B. Rangel Sanchez (Ernest Jr.), Evette Leonor Lopez (Jose), Patricia Esperanza Zepeda and Savannah Marie Martinez (Richard) and their mother, Sandra Balderas McGee; grandchildren, Ashley Nikole Chavez, Paul Vasquez III, Angel Chavez-Gaber (Brice), Ashton Rene Valenzuela, Abcidy Ann Martinez, Kassandra Chavez, Edward Ray Zepeda, Richard James Martinez IV, Carlos Ricardo Zepeda, Alexandra Virginia Lopez, Shayera Justice Martinez and Luke Ryan Zepeda. Frank is also survived by his 8 great grandchildren and his numerous nieces and nephews.
Frank worked as a truck driver for over 30 years. He was most proud of family, and any of their success and happiness.
He enjoyed listening to music, playing accordion, playing guitar, dancing, singing, watching movies, and loved a good laugh
He will be remembered for his frequent reminders to never argue as any day could be your last, and his everlasting wisdom.
A visitation for Frank will be held on Wednesday, October 15, 2025 from 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM at Trevino Funeral Home, 2525 Palo Alto Rd, 78211. A funeral procession will depart at 10:15 AM for Mass at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church at 11:00 AM. Visitation will continue following Mass at Trevino Funeral Home from 12:00 PM - 5:00 PM.
