He was born on March 20, 1930, in Hackensack, N.J. to Frank and Marie Nolan.
After graduating from the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis Maryland, Frank and his wife Mary traveled extensively as he proudly served as a Supply Corps Officer.
Eventually retiring to San Antonio Frank enjoyed woodworking, square dancing, camping with friends, politics, his pets, and welcomed with great curiosity all that the Internet could bring him.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Mary; his daughter, Mary Ann; and grandson, Christopher.
Frank is survived by daughter, Betsy; son, John; grandchildren, Michael and Heidi; great-grandson, Jonathan; and wife, Jackie.
The family will have a private graveside service with full military honors in Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery.
