

Frank G. Tijerina, age 92, of San Antonio, Texas passed away honorably on June 14, 2026. He was born on June 4, 1934, and lived a life defined by loyalty, leadership, and an unwavering commitment to his family and community.
A proud patriot, Frank dedicated four years of faithful service to his country in the U.S. Army and Air Force. Following his military service, he dedicated himself to the “Free Masons” where he was a Golden recipient, an instructor, past master and grand master twice. Where he continued to demonstrate his deep sense of duty and integrity as a respected leader. He guided others with the same honor that defined his personal life.
Above all, he was a loyal and steadfast man who brought strength and wisdom to everyone who knew him.
Frank was the beloved husband of Dora Tijerina, with whom he shared 50 beautiful years of marriage.
He is survived by his loving daughters, Maria Roman, Olga De La Cruz, Irma Tijerina; sister and brother-in-law, Rosa and Santiago Treviño; 7 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and was even blessed to know his many great-great grandchildren! He was preceded in death by his son and daughter, Daniel and Dora Ann De La Cruz; his son-in-law, Sebastian Roman; brothers, Joe and Frances Tijerina; sister, Emilia Moreno; and mother, Consuelo Tijerina, who are all waiting to greet him.
His presence, leadership, and guidance will remain forever in the hearts of his Masonic brothers, friends, and all those whose lives he touched. We will miss you always!
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m., Sunday, June 28, 2026, at Porter Loring Mortuary, 1101 McCullough Ave, with a Rosary to follow at 7:00 p.m.
A funeral service will take place on Monday, June 29, 2026, at 11:30 a.m., at Porter Loring Mortuary.
Interment will follow in Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, 1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd.
