
Franklin Harvey Krause stands now in the company of the redeemed before the Lord he so loved and faithfully served. He died on August 7, a month after his 90th birthday. He was born July 4, 1913 to Franklin Fred Krause and Maggie Lundschene Krause Eckert.
He was married to Daisy Allie Bless for 69 years, and served 55 years in the ministry. Rev. Krause pastored area churches, two of which he began in his home: Inspiration Hills, later to become Northwest Hills, and Vance Jackson Baptist, later Wayside Chapel. He also pastored First Baptist Agua Dulce, First Baptist Waring, Leming Baptist, and Pipe Creek Baptist. San Antonio pastorates included Stonewall Baptist, Southside Baptist, and Woodlawn Hills. He preached numerous revivals throughout the state of Texas. His greatest joy was preaching salvation and teaching doctrine. He was a member of Parkhills Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Daisy; daughters, Joan Burnette, Jean Isgitt and husband Donald, Debbie Troy and husband Jerry, Ala Mae Ramey and husband Dan; sons, John Krause and wife Cathy, Franklin Krause and wife Sarah; sister, Ala Mae White; brother, Eddie Krause and wife Bennie; 14 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
