Fred proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy. After his return, he earned his degree from St. Mary's University in Accounting. Fred retired after 36 years as a Contract Specialist at Kelly AFB.
He was preceded in death by his son, Jon Flores; and parents, Fred and Ida Flores.
Fred is survived by his wife of 53 years, E. Yolanda Flores; children, Michele Flores Maldonado (Frank); grandchildren, Jon Flores, Jr. (Laura), Deanna Flores, Gabriela Maldonado, Joseph Maldonado, and Annamaria Maldonado; siblings, Virginia Nieberlein (Dick), Becky Adams, Bill Flores (Mickey); as well as other close family members and friends.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., on Wednesday, October 31, 2018, at Porter Loring Mortuary.
