Fred Lee Nakvinda

Fred Lee Nakvinda went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday the 16th of June 2023. His family all knows that he is now at peace with his Heavenly Father even though we mourn his passing.Fred, who many affectionately referred to as Bamba lived a full and loving life surrounded by family, friends, and the many communities he served.

Fred was born in Enid, Oklahoma on March 5th, 1935.

I, his grandson, can attest to the beautiful life he lived. Fred was a beloved husband to his wife Lois Nakvinda. It was obvious to everyone that she was the love of his life, who now he will be reunited with again.

Fred will be missed by the many people who knew and loved him. This world has lost a wonderful man, who was passionate and deeply cared for so many in his life. He was a pillar inside of his family and community and has left a legacy that will long survive inside of those people.

Fred also honorably served his country for over 20 years in the Navy, finally honorably discharged from military service as a Chief Petty Officer.

Goodbye to a beloved Husband, Grandfather, Brother, and friend. You will be missed by the many so close to you.

Fred is survived by grandson, Joshua Garrison.
