Fred Menchaca Ramos

Fred M. Ramos born on August 10, 1946 in San Antonio, TX was called to be with the Lord on November 6, 2014 at the age of 68. Fred M. Ramos was an Army veteran who served his country proudly with the 101st Airborne “Screaming Eagle” division. Retired after 37 years of dedicated service to the city of San Antonio, TX, with 20 years active with the company’s softball team. Fred M. Ramos was a devout member of Our lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. He is preceded in death by his parents, Alfredo and Aurora Ramos; brother, Abel Ramos; sister-in-law, Sylvia Ramos. He is survived by his wife, Delma Ramos; children, Annie Huron, Mary Martha Ramos, and Alfredo Ramos Jr.; step children, Gloria Ramos, Nina Huron, Armando Huron, Daniel Huron, and Diana Perez; 12 grandchildren; brother, Jesse Ramos; sister-in-law, Oralia Ramos; sister, Eloisa Ramos; niece, Sandy; nephew, Sammy. Visitation will be held from 5:00p.m. to 9:00p.m. Monday, November 10, 2014 at Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd. with a Rosary at 7:00p.m. A funeral procession will depart from the funeral home on Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at 1:30 p.m. For a 2:00 p.m. Mass of the Resurrection at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Services will conclude at the church on Tuesday.
