Beloved Husband and Father, Frederick G. Ruger, went to meet the Lord on December 29, 2012. He was born on November 27, 1939 in Teaneck, New Jersey. He served in the AF and was honorably discharged in 1963. Years 1964-1987, he owned/operated, M&K Auto Supply, Universal City Auto Parts, Ruger’s Automotive Discount, and briefly, The Machine game room. He and his wife, Edilia Ruger, celebrated 50 years of marriage on August 5, 2012. He is survived by his wife and daughters Lia M. Ruger and partner Marla Brandkamp, Erica L. and husband Mike Yokum, Jan A. and husband Edwin Sexton. Grandchildren: Brett and Shane Yokum and Alex Sexton. Fred was a classic car and motorcycle enthusiast. He was a former member of Alamo AMC Auto Club and AMO. He was residing in Pipe Creek, Texas.
Services will be held on January 11, 2013 with rosary at 12:00 p.m. and funeral Mass at 1:00p.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Selma with interment to follow at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery at 2:30p.m.
