Fredi Adele Sparrow

Fredi “Adele” Sparrow passed away peacefully at home under the loving care of her “2 Angel’s“ Lisa Neel & Jennifer Tucker on June 29, 2022 at the age of 78. Adele is survived by many family members who loved her dearly. Survived in death by her Husband, Terry Sparrow; Children & their spouses Darin & Carla Sparrow, Lisa & Jim Neel and Todd & Becky Sparrow; Niece, Jennifer Tucker, who also called her Mom; Grandchildren Taylor, Megan & Austin Sparrow; Jaycie Thompson & Tanner Jackson; Addie, Cooper & Corinne Sparrow; Ashley & Zoe Tucker and Great Grandson Kai Thompson.

Adele was born in Winters Tx. on January 16, 1944 to Hector & Gertrude Billa who preceded her in death. She eventually moved to San Antonio were she met the love of her life Terry Sparrow in 1959 when she was 15 yrs old. Two years later they married on Christmas Eve in 1961. Terry & Adele had a long happy life together for 60 years. Adele loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren who called her “Mommom”.

Adele began working at Butter Krust Bakery in 1963 as a bookkeeper. She was a dedicated and loyal employee retiring 45 yrs later in 2008.

Adele was a special person to many and she will be greatly missed. We rejoice that she is now pain free and that her spirit is now with Jesus.

A visitation for Fredi will be held Tuesday, July 5, 2022 from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at Sunset Funeral Home, 1701 Austin Highway, San Antonio, TX 78218. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, July 6, 2022 at 11:00 AM, 1701 Austin Highway, San Antonio, TX 78218. A committal service will occur Wednesday, July 6, 2022 at 12:00 PM at Sunset Memorial Park, 1701 Austin Highway, San Antonio, TX 78218.
