Freyda Deanne Franklyn, age 78, died May 9, 2017 after a lengthy illness In San Antonio, Texas. She was born on Independence Day, 1938 in Chicago, Illinois. She was the oldest of six children (including Marvin, Matthew, Ila May, Theodore, and Steven) born to Frank and Cecile Wolf. She was married in 1955 and then for 62 years to Curtis Donald Franklyn. She is survived by her devoted husband and four children (Paul, Jennifer, Dawn, and David) plus seven grandchildren (Nathan, Heather, Melissa, Ariel, Zachary, Emma and David) and two great grandchildren (Ryan and Jordan).
The family will receive friends at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, May 13, 2017 at the Fellowship of San Antonio, 23755 Canyon Golf Rd, San Antonio, TX 78258.
