Gabriela Maribel Gomez-Minjares born June 17, 1970 in Guadalajara, Jalisco, went to be with our Lord on April 26, 2019 at the age of 48. She was preceded in death by her father, Jose Oswaldo Gomez. She is survived by her beloved husband, John David Minjares, their four loving daughters, Alexis, Ashlyn, Vanessa and Sophia and grandson, Ruben Perez. She is also survived by her mother, Aurora Gomez; siblings, Sandra Gomez (Robert Minjares), Jaqueline Gomez, Oswald Gomez (Christina), Margaret Gomez (Mario Martinez) and Alfred Gomez; and her loving nieces and nephews Beto, Ray, Michael, Matthew, Ricky, Angel, Laelani, Larissa, Rudy, Ayiana, Aracely, Aide, Reese, Kashmire, Nicodemus, Matthias, Sia, Jonathan, Ruby, Allison, Sebastian, Christine, Aiden, and Baby Mario.
A visitation will be begin Thursday, May 2, 2019 at Sunset Funeral Home, 1701 Austin Hwy, 78218 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a rosary to be recited at 7 p.m. A Mass of Resurrection will be held Friday, May 3, 2019 at 10 a.m. at St. Brigid Catholic Church, 6907 Kitchener St., 78240 with interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
