Gail Simmons Rittimann

Gail Simmons Rittimann, age 62, passed away November 23, 2021 in San Antonio, TX. She was born in San Antonio, TX on June 22, 1959. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend who will be dearly missed.

Mrs. Rittimann was preceded in death by Armelia Tucker, Adopted mother(grandmother) Edna Simmons, Adopted father (grandfather) Ben Simmons, 3 sisters, Armelia Diane French, Janell Doreen Warren and Debra Zeno, 1 sister-in-law Mary Ann Rittimann and her son-in-law Terry Wardell Lewis and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.

She is survived by her husband, Donald Roy Rittimann; daughters, (Latricia James, Shanell Simmons and Janice Lewis); 12 grandchildren, (Christopher James, Alexis King, Toneisha James, Maurice James, Tiarra Jenkins, Braunya Lewis, Ashanti Jenkins, Jon James, Jailee Lewis, Angelese Jenkins, Aaron and Essej Ramsey): 3 great-grandchildren (Genesis, Kamira and Curtis the Third), 4 brothers (Donald French, Ronald French, James French and Dedrick French): and one sister Lashawntucker Tucker.

The Visitation will be 9 a.m., Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with the Funeral Service to follow at 10 a.m. The interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
