I met "Butch" over fifty years ago.I can still see his quick smile and hear his hearty laugh. It was easy to see that he would become a positive influence on many lives.

I will always treasure the times we had growing up together. Although we were not together for the last years, I know we will have a grand reunion in our Heavenly Home, a little further down the road. Love & Blessings.....

Just found out this man's passing recently. He was a good and well respected by all who knew him. He has coached a well rounded group of ladies that he had a great impact in their lives. No doubt he will be missed. Praying for his family and will never be forgotten. May God bring comfort and peace to his family.

Coach was truly a wonderful person and will be missed by many.I am truly sorry for your loss.

Butch, thanks for being such a great teacher, coach, and friend, but most of all a man of great character. You were Karl's great coach and mentor in science. We shared a lot good times & some not so good but always you were a coach for the kids.

Coach wasn't a coach to me, seeing as how I wasn't an athlete, he was my Marine Science teacher. I adored that man for so many reasons, and he will be missed! May the Lord hold his family in his hands!

I will always remember what a great coach he was! Many of days I spent with him at the EC track. He put his all into his work & would do anything to help. I will never forget him! Rest in peace!

Coach Boggess will never be forgotten by me and many others. I've worked with him for over 14 yrs and have so many wonderful memories of him. Sending my thoughts and prayers to his family.

Coach Boggess...was the most patient coach I've been coached by. He always had some type of jokes I never really got but always made me laugh. Coach Boggess took his time with me and the track team and trained us and coached us to believe in ourselves and lead me to many successes. He was the foundation of my success in track and field. I have the up most respect for Coach Boggess and as the new track coach at EC I hope I make him proud and he shines his guiding light on me with his program he built. Will forever be remembered and loved...
