

December 3, 1930 – May 5, 2016
Our beloved father, grandfather and friend to many, Genaro O. Sepulveda, affectionately known as "Harry", passed away on Thursday, May 5, 2016 with his family at his side.
He was a proud veteran of the US Army, who served his county during the Korean conflict. Shortly after his honorable discharge, he enrolled in Barber School and entered another phase of a career as a Professional Barber that lasted over 51 years.
Harry was a wonderful father and always placed his family first in his life. It was a blessing to have had the love he gave to his children and grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his son, Jorge Luis Sepulveda; his loving wife, Soveida Sepulveda; and son, Leonard James Santos.
Harry is survived by his devoted daughters: Marissa Strickland (William Mann) and Karen Luevano (Michael); grandchildren: Cassandra Sepulveda, Laryssa Sepulveda, Christopher "Georgie" Sepulveda, John Michael Luevano, Ashley Luevano, Celeste Hernandez, David Hernandez and Adrian Garzes.
The family would like to thank the doctors, the dialysis facility, CIMA Hospice, all of the medical staff, family and friends who gave great care to our Dad during his time of need.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 12th from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Porter Loring on McCullough with recitation of the Rosary at 7:00 pm in the chapel.
On Friday, May 13th at 9:30 am Mass of the Resurrection will be held at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Little Flower, 824 Kentucky Ave followed by interment in Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with Army Honors.
