Gene Vernon Christensen, age 86, passed away Thursday, August 25, 2016 in San Antonio, Texas. He was born on July 26, 1930 in Askov, Minnesota to Emil and Verna Christensen. Survivors include his beloved wife of 62 years, Nancy Christensen, daughters, Cindy Lutman (Dirk) and Saundra Christensen; and sister-in-law, Carole Christensen.
Graveside services will take place at 2:45 p.m. Thursday, September 1, 2016 at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with Rev. Gene Bixler officiating.
