Col. Gene T. Broyles, USAF Ret., age 71, of Universal City, passed away on Friday, October 10, 2003. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Polly A. Broyles of Universal City; son, Kenneth G. Broyles and wife, Jill of Del Rio; daughter, Carol Goldsmith of San Antonio; grandchildren, Randy and Jimmy Goldsmith of San Antonio, and Michael and Julie Broyles of Del Rio; brother, Bill Broyles and wife, Charlene of Memphis, TN, and Pat Broyles and wife, Barbara of Orlando, FL; and sister, Judy Beard and husband, Jerry of Homestead, FL.
