Genevieve Pendergrast, age 96, went to be with our Lord on Sunday, May 14, 2006. She is preceded in death by her husband, Nolan A. Pendergrast, Sr.; sister, Winnifred F. Taylor and her brother, John N. Taylor.
She was a devout member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church and a member of the San Antonio Conservation Society.
She enjoyed many years of pleasure vacationing at Medina Lake. Genevieve was a woman ahead of her time, extending her professional career until the age of 78.
She is survived by her nephew, Don Taylor and wife, Kay; niece, Shannon and husband, Dr. Fred Bieberdorf; granddaughters; Pam Catalani and husband, Nick; and Sherrie Gott; a host of grandnieces and nephews; along with her life-long friends, Melba Clark of Houston; Leo Barker, the Paul Rubiola family and Dolly Jo Johnson.
