It was his Faith that allows us to believe that his Eternal Life is just beginning. We know that God's arms are wrapped tightly around him, and as he laughs and smiles, he is at peace.
Shed a tear and a smile at the same time; the tear is for how we will miss him, and the smile is for our feelings of his Salvation.
George had many successes during his life. His many talents began with owning his own business to testing vision ware for the Apollo Space program. He later worked with Beldon Roofing and Leaf Guard, from which he retired after 15 years.
George's real passion in life was being a loving husband, father, brother, friend and neighbor to anyone who came into his life.
He enjoyed spending time at Medina Lake with family and friends. He loved water and snow skiing, but most of all, was an avid football and San Antonio Spurs fan.
George is preceded in death by his parents, George Sr., of Cuban Decedent and Dorothy, his nephew, Wilson, and several aunts and uncles.
He is survived by his loving wife, Alison, and their son, Trey, his siblings, Ron and Martha Gomez, Ken and Lorinda Gomez, Carol and David Whitworth, Ruth and Tom Bondurant, and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be on Sunday, November 7th from 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. at Porter Loring on McCullough.
