George Hernandez, born in San Antonio on November 2, 1955 was called home by our Lord on July 2, 2016. He is preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Eufrasia Hernandez. He graduated from Fox Tech High School in 1974. He did apartment maintenance before joining H.E.B. He retired from H.E.B. after 30 years.
He is survived by his brother Joe Hernandez Jr. and his wife Bertha, his nieces Anna Maldonado and her husband Nick, Rosa Hernandez, and his nephew Jose Hernandez. He is also survived by his aunt and uncle, Mary and Hervey Cervantes, and his Aunt Margaret Monita.
Visitations will be at 6:30p.m. Thursday, July 7 followed by a 7:00 p.m. Rosary at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Mass will be at 9:00a.m., Friday, at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 6680 Crestway, San Antonio78239. Interment will follow at San Fernando #2 Cemetery.
