

He was born in San Antonio, Texas on September 28, 1934 and was a life long resident of this city.
He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Ellen Zimmerman Johnson and son, David Milton Johnson of San Antonio; twin brother, Douglas E. Johnson, M.D. of Marathon, TX; niece, Kathryn Anderson Medford and husband, Larry of Houston, TX; nephews, James C. Anderson, Jr. and wife, Maria of Long Island, NY; Max Johnson and wife, Kimberley of Lockhart, TX; George Johnson and wife, Norma of San Antonio, TX; Michael Johnson of Marathon, TX; aunt, Mrs. Sam D. Head of Houston, TX; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Joe and Barbara Zimmerman of Dallas, TX; numerous great nieces, great nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Max E. Johnson, M.D., his mother, Elizabeth McGehee Johnson, his sister, Elizabeth Johnson Anderson and her husband, James C. Anderson.
Milton Johnson was a graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School and Princeton University, with a degree in Geological Engineering, and was active for 40 years as an Independent Geologist in the Oil and Gas industry in South Texas.
He enjoyed traveling, hunting and fishing, especially fly fishing with his brother-in-law, Joe Zimmerman, in Colorado. His favorite times were spent at "Greenlawns", their country home on the Medina River near Medina City, TX.
He was a member of Christ Episcopal Church and a visiting member of St. Christopher's Episcopal Church in Bandera, TX.
He was a member of various professional geological societies, including South Texas Geological Society and SIPES; The San Antonio German Club, Past President; The Order of the Alamo; The Texas Cavaliers; Conopus Club of San Antonio, Past President; The San Antonio Country Club and The Argyle Club.
