George Richard Knox, Jr. was cherished and beloved by his wife Cynthia and his sisters Pamela Hessler and Debbie Knox. Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, his loving parents, George Richard Knox, Sr. and Dorothy J. Knox, preceded him with their passing. His presence as a husband and a brother was everything to us and he will be so greatly missed.
A distinguished gentleman graced with humility, George’s beautifully fulfilled life embraced the best of experiences drawn from his professional career as an attorney, a consultant, a certified public accountant, his quest for life-long learning, and an insightful global perspective. George truly satisfied a life well lived.
He completed studies at The University of Cincinnati (BBA) and advanced studies at St. Mary’s University School of Law (JD), The University of Texas San Antonio (MBA) and Texas A&M San Antonio (MPA). He practiced accounting in Houston and pursued his legal practice in Houston, San Antonio, and Washington, D.C. Notably, he took an international path with Cynthia and lived in Tokyo, London and Rome.
His life truly captured the essence of a quote from filmmaker Erwin McManus “A life well lived is the most exquisite work of art” until we meet again, George.
