George Ronald Lindquist

Major George Ronald Lindquist, age 90, passed away on Wednesday, September 3, 2025. He was born on August 8, 1935, in New Bedford, Massachusetts, to parents, Sylvia (Matson) and Charles W. Lindquist.

George was a proud Air Force Veteran. He received his Commission in 1961 and served for 26 years. He was also a Mason as well as a Shriner.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his older brother, William Lindquist; and his younger brother, Jeffrey Taylor. George is survived by his beloved wife of 64 years, Sandra S. Lindquist; his sister, Linda Taylor Bohlen; his sons, Robert Lindquist and Steven Lindquist; daughter, Elaine Jameson and her husband Norman Jameson, their son Brad Jameson and his wife Victoria Jameson; and his Great-Grandchildren, Vivienne Jameson and Riggs Jameson; along with many other extended family members and close friends.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., Monday, September 22, 2025, at Porter Loring Mortuary North, 2102 N. Loop 1604 E., with a funeral service to begin at 12:00 p.m.

Chaplain Bryce Dooley will officiate. Interment with Full Military Honors will follow in Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery at 1:45 p.m.
