George A. Volz

George Volz, age 91, of San Antonio, died Sunday, August 4, 2002. Mr. Volz was a parishioner of St. Pauls Catholic Church for 48 years. He retired from the H.E.B Grocery Company as a Senior Vice President after 37 years in 1975. George was an active supporter of the Archdiocese of San Antonio. Survivors: wife, Amelia Volz; daughter, Nancy Boettiger and husband John, Sr., Lake Jackson, TX; sister-in-law, Laura Lee Volz, Waco, TX; grandchildren, John Boettiger, Jr. and wife Michele, Jeff Boettiger and wife Kathleen, and Julie Boettiger, all of Houston, TX; great granddaughters, Amelia Marin Boettiger and Amber Kay Boettiger.
