SHE WAS MY MOTHER SISTER THEY SPEND TIME TOGETHER OFTEN AS THE CAN TIME PERMITTED. NOW THEY ARE BOTH TOGETHER WITH IN PEACE WITH JESUS. SHE WAS TO ME ONE OF MY MOST FAVORITE AUNT WHEN EVER I AM IN TOWN I WOULD VISIT HER. I WILL MISS HER ALWAY BE IN MY HEART AND FOND MEMORIES OF HER. I remember when Gollyta would go and pick up my grandmother Lydia Fernandez and take her to church. She always had a warm and loving smile coming and going with a dios los bendiga as she would leave us. Our prayer go out to you the family. But we all know the she is in a way better place then we are. We can all only hope to see her again. She would also go and sell to my grandfather Luz Perez chilles piquines jars.

Awww, your Mom Goya was the most humblest God fearing woman I ever knew. I remember when we were little she would go by our house and help my Mom and us out in whatever way she could. She was so sweet and kind, all those good words. I always remembered her in my thoughts. My sympathy in your loss.

We didn't know Mrs.Cortez. However, we do know she was a good Mother as evidenced by Tony and his wonderful family. We are very sorry for your loss.

Our fondest memories of Mrs. Cortez was her big smile and her motherly guidance. Mrs. Cortez was our next door neighbor and friend for many years when our Mother passed away she was our inspirational support, I personally spent many days at her house hiding from my Mother underneath her son George's bed she always made each one of us feel like part of her family. It is nice to know that she is now in heaven with our Mother probably looking down on us and having a big laugh, she will be sorely missed I know we did not keep in contact once she moved away from our neighborhood but she was always in our thoughts and heart.
