

Georgia Ann Conner Sargent, born February 16, 1941, in Victoria, Texas, passed away peacefully 7 July 2025 at 84 years of age. She was the youngest child of George Emmitt Conner and Lucy Della (Tutwiler) Conner, and the last surviving member of her family, preceded in death by her parents, brother John William (JW) Conner, and sister Wanda Ruth Barrow.
Georgia spent her early years in the Heyser Field near Bloomington and Placedo, Texas, where her father worked for Barnsdall Oil Company and its successors. She attended Placedo Elementary and later graduated from Bloomington High School.
In 1972, Georgia moved to San Antonio, Texas, where she remained for the rest of her life. A dedicated and hardworking woman, she held numerous positions, including 12 years at Glazers Wholesale and Drug Company, 23 years at Basse Truck Lines, and time at Alamo Express and Bowman Trucking Companies. She also worked part-time at USAA for over five years, often working weekends and holidays. Georgia's strong work ethic and commitment were evident throughout her life.
Georgia is survived by her two sons, Kevin Blane Lillo and William Guy Keckler, and her grandson, Kevin Eddie Lillo. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Ida Jean Conner, whom she considered a sister, and numerous nieces, nephews, and their children. In her later years, she resided with her son Kevin and his family.
Georgia wished to share that she lived a long and happy life, cherishing her family above all else. She loved them deeply and will be greatly missed.
