

Gerald (Jerry) was the beloved son of William Curran and Salina Keene Curran. He grew up in Homestead and Saltsburg, Pennsylvania, where he developed the strong work ethic and
deep-rooted values that guided him throughout his life. He graduated from Saltsburg High School and attended Salem College. He went on to build a long and dedicated career as Manager of Purchasing at National Roll Steel, where he worked faithfully for over 40 years. His professionalism, reliability, and leadership earned the respect of colleagues and friends alike.
Jerry was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Vicki Curran of Saltsburg, PA. His three brothers, William Curran of Saltsburg, Pennsylvania, Dave Curran of Stockton, California, and Gary Curran of Saltsburg, Pennsylvania.
He is survived by his loving children: Amy Lauth (Jeff) of Avon, Indiana, Brian Curran (Missy) and Chad Curran (Regan) of San Antonio, Texas. He was a proud and devoted grandfather to Nathan Lauth, Amanda Lauth, William Curran, Jack Curran, and June Curran. He is also survived by several cherished nieces and nephews.
Above all, Jerry loved spending time with his family. He treasured family vacations to Myrtle Beach and the memories made along the way. A devoted sports fan, he especially enjoyed cheering on the Pitt Panthers and the Pittsburgh Steelers. Whether watching a game or gathering with loved ones, he found his greatest joy in being surrounded by family and friends.
Jerry will be remembered for his quiet strength, sense of humor, steady presence, and unwavering devotion to those he loved. His legacy lives on in the lives of his children, grandchildren, friends, and all who were blessed to know him. He will be deeply missed and forever held in their hearts.
A graveside service will be held at Edgewood Cemetery in Saltsburg, PA in early October 2026. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
