Gerald Wayne Lee

"Corky" Gerald W. Lee age 83, of San Antonio, died Wednesday, March 2, 2011.

Mr. Lee was a charter member of Shearer Hills Baptist Church since 1958. He was an active Deacon at Burnet First Baptist Church and Shearer Hills Baptist Church. He served on various committees; was an Athletic Director and worked with the Adults Basketball and Softball for the youth for many years. He was also past President of San Antonio Sunday School athletic youth Association.

Mr. Lee was preceded in death by his parents, Riley Franklin Lee and Eunice Inez Stuckey Lee; grandson, Brandon Bowles; great great granddaughter, Payton Lewis; sister, Doris Roger; and brother, Kenneth Lee.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Loreta Lee; children Clifford Lee and wife, Sharon, Diana Bowles, Judy Kelley and husband Roger, and Gerald Lee and wife, Mary Jo; grandchildren, Tiffany Brock, Jennifer Boswell, Jeremy Lee, Jason Lee, Charity Walker, Adam Kelley, Casey Kelley and Nathan Allen; 9 great grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandson; sister, Willadene Lackey; numerous nieces and nephews and 3 sisters-in-law.

Visitation will be on Thursday, March 3, 2011 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Porter Loring on McCullough.
