Gerald Banks Norman

Gerald (Jerry) Banks Norman of San Antonio, Texas, died January 30, 2022 at the age of 87 years. Gerald was born in Memphis, Tennessee on September 19, 1934. Jerry’s family relocated from Tennessee to Texas early in his life, he graduated from Lubbock High School in 1953. Jerry remained in Texas his entire life.

Jerry was married to his second wife, Doris L. Garner on September 20, 1984. Doris preceded Jerry in death in 2017. Jerry was also preceded in death by his first wife and Mother of his children, Donna Fay Davis in 1983.

Jerry owned his own business, of home and commercial painting and interior wall coverings in his early 30’s. Jerry continued his business through 2017 and then retired fully.

Jerry is survived by his children Gerald P. Crow (Norman) and his husband Steve Crow of Gainesville, Georgia and Donna Marie Barry (Norman) of Helotes, TX,

his Granddaughter Canduce Lucille Barry of Chandler, TX

his Grandson Harvest Banks Barry of Helotes, TX,

his Brother Charles (Buddy) Norman of Uvalde, TX

his Stepson Tim Denham, and his wife Debbie both of San Antonio, TX,

his Stepdaughter Lori Scott of Amarillo, TX,

Multiple Nieces and Nephews, their families and extended stepfamily

A Memorial Service be held on Thursday, February 24th, 2022 at 2:00 pm, at Sunset Memorial Park and Funeral Home, 1701 Austin Highway, San Antonio, Texas 78218 in the Chapel. Intermentwill follow immediately after the service.
