For eight years, Gerald proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy.
Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Mary and Thomas Sellers, son, Franklin Thompson, granddaughter Allison Sellers and many cousins.
He was preceded in death by his Mother Inez Rutledge Thompson and his Father Henry Eugene (Gene) Thompson.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 3rd from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Porter Loring on McCullough.
