She was a longtime member of St. Gregory's Parish. She moved to Rockport a year ago and was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Cyril Floyd Hoffman; son, Billy Lee Hoffman and sister, Rosemary Alsdorf.
She is survived by two daughters, Mary Jean Mitchell of The Colony, TX, and Susan Harold K. Schultz of Rockport; one son, James E. Paula Hoffman of Leland, MI; daughter-in-law, Frances Hoffman of San Antonio; sister, Dorothy Elliot of Knoxville, IA; brother-in-law, Albert "Sonny" Alsdorf; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; eleven nieces and nephews; and longtime friend, Theresa Duoba.
A memorial mass was celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 19, 2008, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Rockport.
