Gertrude G. Carmines

She was born on July 17, 1922 to Otto D. and Johanna Grundmann.

Trudy attended St. Agnes School, St. Joseph's Academy, Draughn's Business College and was a licensed vocational nurse. She also worked for 35 years and retired from the Urology Associates of SAPA. Trudy was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church and Herman Sons Schuetze Lodge #3.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Major Daniel H. Carmines, Jr.

Trudy is survived by her son, Daniel Carmines III; two loving grandsons, Daniel Carmines IV and Nathan Carmines and wife, Nicole; great-grandchildren, Kelsey Michelle Carmines and Amelia Ruth Carmines; sister, Elizabeth Scott; niece, Lisa VonAstrand and nephew, Randall G. Scott and wife, Donann and son, Christopher; former granddaughter-in-law, Rayanne Schmid, husband John and their children, Shelby and Garrett.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 25, 2010 from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Porter Loring Mortuary.
