She is preceded in death by her father, Charles Turegano, her mother, Mary Yanes Turegano, and her husband, Theodore B. Alexander. “Boots”, had eight children who she loved with all her heart and being: Geraldine Gomez (Robert), Trudy Riojas (Steve), Marilyn Salas, John Salas, (Louisa), Mary Dee Escobedo (Manuel), George Salas, Alice Sepulveda (Joe), and Gilbert Salas (deceased).
She was the grandmother of 17, and the great-grandmother of 19. Prayer was a daily part of her life. Her generous spirit was loved by everyone who knew her. She enjoyed music, dancing, and traveling, but her family was her greatest joy in life. She never hesitated to sacrifice for her family. She will be dearly missed by those who love her; she will be always loved by all who know her.
Visitation will take place at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel at 6:00pm on Tuesday December 16, 2014, followed by a Rosary at 7:00. A Funeral Service will be held at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel, on Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at 9:00am with interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
