Gian Chau Giang entered into rest on April 4, 2013 at the age of 92. She was born on June 9, 1920 to Hao Giang and Yip Yip in Canton, China. After High School, she married Dieu Loung and moved to Vietnam in 1937. After his death in 1967, Gian emigrated to the United States in 1975 and settled in San Antonio in 1981. Gian loved to cook, garden, and enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren. She is survived by her 7 children Vicky Giang, Don Loung, Chuck Leung, Grace Giang, Sonny Giang, Ming Raymond, and Dan Giang; 13 grandchildren and 4 great-grand kids. Visitation will be on Sunday, April 7, 2013 from 11am-5pm at Sunset Funeral Home, 1701 Austin Hwy, San Antonio, TX, 78218. Funeral Services will take place in Houston at a later date.
