Gilbert Ybanez Longoria went to be with the lord on November 13, 2014 at the age of 81. He worked as a sheet metal worker for Kelly Airforce Base. He preceded in death by his beloved wife Carmen S. Longoria. He is survived by 6 Children: Gabriel (Gloria) Longoria, George (Helen) Longoria, Grace (John) Ramirez, Jerry Longoria, Gus (Sandra) Longoria, Gilbert (Cindy) Longoria, Grandchildren: Amanda, Ronni, Stephen, Lizbeth, Jeremy, Dominique, Gustavo Jr., Christopher, Christian, Abcde, Brandon, and Briana Longoria; Great-Grandchildren: Elliana Llamas, Aven and Madilyn Longoria, Ayla Rubio; and Brother: David Longoria. A visitation will be held at Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Road on Tuesday, November 18, 2014 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. A funeral procession will depart from the funeral home on Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at 12:30 pm for a 1:00 p.m. Mass of the Resurrection at St. John Berchmans’ Catholic Church. Interment will follow at San Fernando Cemetery No. 2.
