Gilroy H. Wahl was born in New Braunfels, TX on March 5, 1929 and passed away in San Antonio on May 25, 2015 at the age of 86. He retired from IBEW Local 60 after many years as an electrician. He was also a member of the American Legion.
Gilroy is survived by his wife of 56 years, Emma; sons, Joey Wahl (Becki), Steven Wahl (Camille); grandchildren, Jake Wahl and Alexa Baty; and his sister, Dottie Nicholson.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 28, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Sunset Funeral Home. Graveside services will be at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, May 29, 2015 at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
