Ginger Carol Tow (née Golden), age 56, passed away peacefully on May 2, 2025, in San Antonio, Texas. Born on January 27, 1969, in Dallas, Texas, Ginger lived a life filled with warmth, resilience, and unwavering devotion to her family and friends.
Ginger graduated from the University of Texas with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a minor in French. Her professional journey began in sales at Dell Computers, but her heart quickly guided her toward what she cherished most—raising her two sons. With profound love and dedication, Ginger prioritized their growth and well-being above all else.
As her children grew, Ginger pursued her teaching certification and became a substitute teacher within the North East Independent School District (NEISD), always ensuring she remained close to her sons’ schools.
In 2015, Ginger began a fulfilling new chapter at Southwest Airlines as a Customer Support Services Agent. It was here that she truly flourished, forming lasting friendships and experiencing a deep sense of community. Her colleagues became a second family, and she brought joy and compassion to every interaction until her diagnosis in 2020.
Ginger is survived by her loving husband, Brent; her eldest son, Preston, and his partner, Marco; and her youngest son, Chase, and his wife, Sarah-Grace. She is also lovingly remembered by her stepmother, Marla Golden; her father-in-law, Billy Dee Tow; her siblings, Robert Golden, Gary Golden, Laurie Dees, Michael Mabry, Meredith Webber, John Crowley, and Noelle Crowley; and her brother-in-law, Charles William Tow; as well as her beloved nieces, nephews, and extended family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Carol Golden Crowley and Bobby Jim Golden (Bob); her stepfather, Jim Crowley; and her mother-in-law, Lynda Naomi Tow.
Ginger possessed a vibrant spirit that touched everyone around her. She had a remarkable green thumb, delighting especially in gardening and nurturing succulents. Her backyard oasis in San Antonio showcased her creativity and meticulous care, and she often handcrafted succulent arrangements as thoughtful gifts.
She enjoyed needlepointing and solving picture puzzles of all sizes, reflecting her patience and sharp intellect. As a pop culture enthusiast, Ginger loved staying updated on celebrity news and sharing stories from TMZ and other outlets. She treasured spending time with her girlfriends, frequently embarking on day adventures filled with charming lunches and shopping trips.
Beyond her hobbies and career, Ginger was known as a calming and diplomatic presence among loved ones, always seeking harmony and peace. Her cheerful nature and genuine warmth brought joy to all who knew her. Ginger had a deep love for beaches and water; some of her most cherished memories were made during trips to the Texas Coast and beach vacations in Florida and Mexico.
Above everything else, Ginger was an exceptionally proud mother. Her sons were the center of her universe, and she celebrated their milestones with immense pride and boundless love. Time spent with family—whether watching sunsets or simply sharing everyday moments—was what she treasured most.

The family will receive friends and relatives from 1:00-2:00 P.M. at Porter Loring Mortuary North, 2102 N. Loop 1604 E. The Memorial Service will immediately follow in the chapel.
