Gino Gonzales

Eugene Gonzales, better known as Gino, entered into the loving arms of our Lord on December 17, 2022 at the age of 48. He was born in San Antonio, Texas on September 17, 1974 to Sylvia Elizondo Alejandro and Louis GonzalesJr.

Gino graduated from the Edgewood District in 1992. He worked as a mechanic. His two passions were his family and his cars. His favorite car was his red and gold racing Mustang. Gino was never interested in the spotlight but would do anything to protect the people he loved. He enjoyed spending time at home, relaxing with family, nights out at the racetrack, and watching wrestling with his kids.

Gino will be reunited in heaven with his Grandmother, Consuelo “Chelo” Alejandro; Uncle, Robert “Bobby” Alejandro; and stepfather, Louis Ornelas.

Gino’s memory will forever live on, with his wife of 17 years, Lita Treviño; children, Nevaeh Gonzales, Diego Gonzales, and Zander Gonzales; Mother, Sylvia Ornelas; Brother, Louis Gonzales III (Yoli); Sisters, Janine Sanchez (Alex) and Ashley Ornelas; Nieces/Nephew, Gabby, Julia, and Jonathon. Gino had multiple Cousins, and extended family that will all miss him.

A visitation for Eugene will be held on Tuesday, December 27, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home. The rosary service will begin at 7:00 PM. A funeral service will occur on Wednesday, December 28, 2022 beginning at 10:00 AM with the interment to follow at San Fernando #2 Cemetery.
