Giuseppe "Giovi" Augello, age 85, went home to the Lord and his amore, Rosa, on Saturday, October 17, 2015. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. Prior to moving to San Antonio, Giovi had a full and interesting life in Sicily, New York City and New Orleans. He was active in the garment industry and later restaurant service.
He was known and appreciated for his sense of humor, laughter and storytelling. He enjoyed family life and delighted in being "Nonno" to his granddaughter.
Giovi is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Rosa and is survived by his son, Antonino (Nino) Augello and wife, Michelle and his loving granddaughter, Sophia Isabella Augello.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 22, 2015 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM in the Chapel at Porter Loring on McCullough.
