

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth J Bradfield, her son Jeffry K. Bradfield, her brother Walter Bruno, and her sister Lois Mae Bruno Ferguson.
Gladys and Kenneth were charter members of Shepherd King Lutheran Church, where they both were active members of the choir and held numerous positions.
She is survived by her two daughters, Deborah Bradfield Montfort and Cheryl Bradfield Burchell (Gary), and her son Michael Bradfield (Lisa), and her daughter-in-law Jeanette Bradfield, 10 Grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren, she was also known as “Mom” to so many kids in the neighborhood that it’s probably too many to count.
A visitation for Gladys will be held Thursday, March 14, 2024 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at Sunset Funeral Home, 1701 Austin Highway, San Antonio, TX 78218. A funeral service will occur Thursday, March 14, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, 1701 Austin Highway, San Antonio, TX 78218. A committal service will occur Thursday, March 14, 2024 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM, 1701 Austin Highway, San Antonio, TX 78218.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to St Francis Nursing Home, 630 W Woodlawn Ave, San Antonio, TX 78212. The family would like to thank St Francis Nursing Home for taking such great care of Gladys.
