Gladys Neumann Ritz, born in Woodsboro, Tx on August 5, 1916, entered rest on February 9, 2011 in San Antonio at the age of 94. She was preceded in death by her husband Alfred L. Ritz, and by her two sisters Geraldine Cope and Lucile Adams. Gladys graduated from Southwest Texas State Teachers College in 1937 and had a long career as a Federal Government Accountant in the United States, Europe, and Asia. She will be missed by the many family members and friends whose lives she blessed. Gladys, an avid Spurs fan, will be forever remembered and honored by her devoted family: Son John David Treadway-Ritz of Richmond, Virginia; Granddaughter Robyn Framme of Richmond, Virginia; two nieces; Gerry Jordan of McKinney, Tx and Kristen Paula Adams of San Marcos, Tx.
Visitation will be held Monday, February 14, 2011 from 2-3 p.m. with a Funeral Service to be held at 3:00 p.m. at Sunset Funeral Home, 1701 Austin Highway San Antonio, Tx 78218. Entombment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
