She was born to John Joseph Kempf and Sylvia Moody Kempf in Kilgore, TX on January 10, 1934. Glenda adored her family and enjoyed time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Donald E. Abell; daughter, Lisa Lynn Martel and husband, Steve; son, Ken Abell; daughter, Lori Courchesne and husband Marc; six grandchildren; Chelsea Martel, Brittney Garner, Jared Abell and fiancé, Hailey Emerson, Kayla Abell, Thomas Courchesne and his wife Ashley, Phillip Courchesne; great-granddaughter, Callie Lynne Garner and brother, Vice Adm. Cecil J. Kempf, USN (Ret.).
