Mrs. Glenna Stevens Kiser passed quietly in her sleep on July 16, 2025. She was born in Grahn, Kentucky on June 27, 1929, and attended Olive Hill High School and Eastern Kentucky University. She was the daughter of Wade and Hannah Stevens and was preceded in death by her brother, Clifton “Steve” Stevens; and her sister, Erma Gaskin.
“Peggy” as she was known to friends and family married Jack Kiser of Globe, KY, an Air Force Officer, and together they traveled across the United States living in New York, South Dakota, Hawaii, Indiana, California and finally in San Antonio, Texas. She is survived by her three sons, David, Steve, and Kevin; her husband, of 72 years, Jack Kiser; and her older brother, Roy Stevens of Florence, Alabama.
She will be missed as a loving mother. grandmother, and wife. 1 Corinthians 1 3:1-1 3.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, August 4, 2025, at 11:15 a.m., at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
