Gloria was called home to be with the Lord, on December 3, 2012 at the age of 71. She is preceded in death by her husband Jose Rene Alfaro, parents Marcial and Enedina Pecina. Gloria is survived by her beloved children; David Irias (Diana), Annette Caleffie (Jason), Arlene Valdez (Ralph), Rene Alfaro (Jennifer), Marco Alfaro (Sally), 14 Grandchildren, 6 Great Grandchildren, siblings; Raul, Robert, Richard, Rudy, Ruben, Roger, Anita and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. A visitation will begin, Thursday, December 6, 2012, 5:00 p.m. at Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. A procession will depart the funeral home, Friday, December 7, 2012 at 11: 30 a.m. for a 12:00 p.m. Mass to be celebrated at St. John Berchmans Catholic Church. Interment to follow in San Fernando II.
