

Gloria was preceded in death by her parents and her husband David B. Coy.
Gloria loved her family with her whole heart and did so much for everyone. You could always count on her. She loved Dad and visited him at Fort Sam Houston regularly leaving him seasonal flowers on his grave. She loved her friends and enjoyed traveling. She and the Golden Girls had many adventures. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, whether it was taking them to Disney world or out to dinner.
The family would like to thank the people from Crest Hospice who made her last days comfortable Virginia, Vangie, and Thaddeus.
Gloria is survived by her daughter, April Torres and husband Frank; son, Joseph Coy; grandchildren, Milo Coy, Sabrina Mckeen, Letty Ortiz and Lilly Ortiz; brothers, Hector Martinez, Valentin Martinez, Ruben Martinez; sister, Alicia Munoz; sisters-in-law, Oralia Martinez and Dreama Martinez.
Visitation will be at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home, 6321 Bandera road, San Antonio, Texas 78238 on Wednesday, August 2, 2023 from 6:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. with a rosary at 7:00 P.M.
The funeral procession will depart Sunset Northwest Funeral Home at 8:30 A.M. on Thursday, August 3, 2023 for a 9:00 A.M. funeral mass at St. Brigid Catholic church, 6907 Kitchener Street San Antonio, Texas 78240. Interment will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
