She is preceded in death by her parents, Jose Maria & Dolores Rocamontes; first husband, Gilbert Escobedo; brothers, Gilbert Rocamontes, Ruben Rocamontes; grandson, Baby Paul Ortiz and stepson, Joe Gonzales, Jr.

She is survived by her husband, Joe R. Gonzales; children, Gilbert Escobedo Jr (Isamari), Irene Brand, Josephine Escobedo (Carlos Dimas), Andrew Escobedo (Veronica); stepchildren, Sarah Sanchez, Abraham Gonzales (Hayle) and Kimberly Santos (Julian); grandchildren, Priscilla, Dolores, Esmeralda, Chris, Leslie, Brianna, Barbara, Roland, Paul, Gogi, Desiree, Andrew Jr.; step grandchildren, James, Vanessa, AJ, Zelma, Lucy, Xavier, Emilio, Elmer, Julian, Ximena and Caitlyn; 31 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.

A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 6, 2026 at Trevino Funeral Home, 2525 Palo Alto Rd, 78211 with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM. On Thursday, May 7, 2026 a Mass of Resurrection will be Celebrated at 10:00 AM at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church with interment to follow at San Fernando Cemetery II.
